Got to Get Out of My Own Head
Got To Get Out of My Own Head
by Denise ((bonaimo)) Sarram
11” x 8” x 3”, assemblage 2020
$300
Ephemera, vintage scale, watch parts, antique brush, wood, ink, paint
Sometimes when I get fixated on something it’s very hard to “get out of my own head.” This assemblage, with its numerous watch gears, represents how the brain can be winding away with thoughts. The scale is a metaphor for trying to keep those thoughts in balance.
